Not sure whether I’ve posted about my having had a mastectomy over 20 years ago at Memorial Sloan Kettering. Thankful to be a part of their survivorship network. Aren’t we fortunate to have such great medical care available to us.
I honestly cannot remember. At the time I was caring for Mum with Alzheimer’s so the cancer was almost secondary in my thoughts. I don’t think it was very long, but I continued to go every year for testing and bloodwork for my remaining breast until Covid. Since then I’ve been winging it.
Coming up on 18 years of my diagnosis... if I may be so bold: “Ain’t dead yet!”
Good to know another survivor. How long did you stay on the medication after all the treatments?
6 years post chemo/radiation on an estrogen inhibitor.

Thankful for your level head and relative comfort as you face The Inevitable.
Your lyrics of the day were on point. And brought to mind one of my fave songs by Patti Griffin.
Key Lyrics: "Stay on the ride, it's gonna take you somewhere."
Hang in there, Sir.
I am certainly glad 'you ain't dead yet'. Hang in there Buddy, as long as you can.
